Synopsis

Jonam, the Jindo dog raised by Jjangtungi, gave birth to six cute puppies. Among them, only Hwangto, a puppy that looks just like its mother, is left behind. The other dogs became separated. Hwangto is greedy for food, although he is a troublemaker who causes all kinds of trouble. Hwangto is Jjangdungi’s best friend. Then one day, the Hwangto disappeared...

Director's Comment

Oh Jin-hee's original cartoon, [Jjangdungi], has been reborn as a stop-motion animation. Set in the 1970s, it reminds adults who are tired of their busy daily lives of their childhood memories. We want to convey the beauty of nature to children who are increasingly forgetting nature in the city. It was produced as a family/educational animation that children and parents can watch together. I hope this will be an opportunity to convey the gentle emotion of caring for and loving one another with your family.
