Synopsis

A bright red desk and a blue pencil. Skulls, cups, and a modular synthesizer. When you sit at the desk, they appear. With fluffy purple bodies, they're called "Desk Bugs."

Director's Comment

Inspired by cine calligraphy, this work is a drawing animation created with a frame size of 5cm vertically and 7cm horizontally, focusing on the theme of “distracts.”

Detailed description

The shaky lines are like worms crawling inside one’s head, like the experiences of being unable to concentrate at the desk. But it’s easy to concentrate on the film itself. The jazz instruments play like they are fighting each other. The red desk and blue pencil, the skull, cup, and modular synthesizer all seem to be fighting but also creating a great rhythm.
