Synopsis
The mobile gatcha game [PICK ME UP !] is famous for it’s demoniac difficulty. Han, better known under the nickname “Loki”, 5th in world ranking, blacks out while playing an event raid dungeon.Han is now a unworthy 1 starred level 1 hero, and has to guide the other heroes with his beginner Master(player) in order to survive the challenges of 100 floors. “You don’t know who you’re messing with...” The Carry-story of Master Loki, the undefeated.
Director's Comment
Pick Me Up! is an effort to show that Korean genre novels and webtoons can offer good source material for animation, and furthermore, to lay the groundwork for development into a series. Hand-painted 3D technology was used to achieve sophisticated pipelines and visuals that fit the current trends and also to differentiate the film from Japanese 2D animation which has a strong influence on Korea.
