Synopsis

One person is born out of his consciousness. He goes on a surreal internal journey to find out who he is. He awakens a butterfly in his heart, he sometimes shares his thoughts nd observes different parts and aspects of the world. In the end of the journey full of various emotions and ups and downs, nothing but death is waiting for him. But soon he realizes that this death is the true birth and transcendence. Beautiful enchanting colors and sounds fill in his world and his true self comes out to the world. His butterfly now flies freely in his colorful sky.

Director's Comment

We are living in a world where various values and ideologies collide and merge in multiple meta universes. As everything changes and transforms at light speed, we look forward to a bright hope for a potential to expand our world broader and further. But at the same time, we experience a deep emptiness and futility of life. It is indeed a confusing and chaotic time : The world of metamodernism after modernism and even postmodernism. However, no matter what, we still need to find the meaning of life and the reason to carry on. That is the message of this piece in the end. In addition, 'Metamodernity' exists in the world of my previous films 'Opera', 'O' and 'How to eat your Apple'. It provides another layer of easter egg fun for the audience to discover connections between those films.
