Aftergraduating from Film Animation at Hanseo University in 2006, she startedworking on animations. She likes handwork systems including drawings on paper,stop-motion animation and sand animation. She also enjoys making experimentalanimations with mixed animation technologies. With her graduate animation work<A pimple> in 2006, she has created <A piece of paper> (2008),<Myo-A> (2010), <Natural Urban Nature> (2011) and <SouvenirAnimation>(2012), and her works won some awards were screened at domesticand international animation festivals and Audio-Vidal Festival. Works as aboard member of Korea Independent Animation Filmmakers Association.

 Beginning with Pucheon International StudentAnimation Festival in 2000, she has been working as a programmer at SeoulInternational Cartoon Animation Festival, Gwacheon SF Film Festival, SiggraphAsia Computer Animation Festival Director, and works for Indie-AniFest now.

 She studies on the possibility of IntegratedArt Therapy through animations, as she has performed animation therapyworkshops for children and teenagers at HanKum Counselling Psychology Centersince 2010.

Won the Best Animation Prize ofNon-narrative section at Cordoba 2003 Animation Celebration in Argentina, andthe First Film Prize at CINANIMA03 International Animated Film Festival 2003 inEspinho, Portugal with <Intimate Feeling with my Friend>. He also won theJury Special Prize at Indie-AniFest with <The Sense of Space for UrbanPeople> in 2007 and has been constantly working on <A Reminiscence of aSplendid Day> (2009), <Where the Story Begins> (2009), <TheQuotidian Life> (2010), <Please Adopt, Don't Buy> (2012) and others.He works as an illustrator and Webtoon artist under the pen name of TheUnexpected.

Born in Iga ( Ninjya small town) Japan, 1941. Afterworked with Yoji Kuri in his studio for 3 years, started his career, as anindependent animation film maker, also as a freelance illustrator for editorial& advertising.Publishing Picture books for children, Manga ,making TV-CM,at the same time, started to make animated shorts from “Oxed man”( i969 Annecy)to “Hanano Hanashi(Nose Taje)”(2012). 

I am anAnimator Director with a MA in Animation Direction from the NFTS and a BA inFine Art from BRERA. Alongside my personal films I work for the commercialsindustry My films and my animation work have won many awards, including BAFTAand ROYAL TELEVISION SOCIETY AWARD nominations. Since 2005 I formed co-createdthe collective www.mewlab.com
