Synopsis

Thisstory is about death. I had a friend, a cat. One grey drizzly day, the catdied. What I saw in the next morning looked like a dress left by the cat.

Director's Comment

Thisanimation was made as a way to tell our child a story about death. People areborn and inevitably experience a parting. No one knows what lies beyond death,but we wanted to offer our own answer to this question and share our thoughtswith our beloved child. We hope that our child goes through life withoutfearing or turning away from death. We wanted to leave something behind thatcan be consoling when we are no longer present. Musician AHN Seung-joonprovided writing and music, while director HONG Nari created the images andstory. This animation is the first project in our collaborative efforts.
