Synopsis

The main character stands at thefront door, fearful to leave home because of the presence of people. Inside theelevator, they stare at the numbers on the screen, afraid that someone mightenter. If forced to stand in front of a crowd, they are gripped by an unknownfear and anxiety. This film tells the story of a person for whom every day is astruggle living among others.

Director's Comment

[FE:AR]is a short animated film about a person who lives with constant anxiety insocial situations. Social anxiety is the most common mental illness around theworld and it affects almost every area of life. To escape this fear, mostpeople tend to avoid social interactions and be alone, just like the maincharacter in [FE:AR]. People with social anxiety fear being judged by others,so they choose to constantly hide. nevertheless, they have to blend in thisworld to survive even though every day is a new challenge for them. [FE:AR]visualizes these hidden fears in order to create empathy for the maincharacter.
