Synopsis
This film, Communicate shows the history and development of human communications from the mural paintings in before Christ to the blossom of the online world in the 21st century. At the same time, it also describes that this desire of communication is concluded to the communion for absolute truth.
Director's Comment
「HUBO」는 휴머노이드(Humanoid)와 로봇(Robot)의 합성어로, 2005년 1월 한국과학기술원(KAIST) 기계공학과 오준호 교수팀이 개발한 인간형 로봇이다. 귀여운 ‘휴보’와 앙증 맞은 공이 서로 다투는 단편 애니메이션 ‘휴보’는 휴보 랩의 팀 리더이자 오수형 작가의 아버지이기도 한 오준호 교수의 서포트 아래 제작되었고 현재 다양한 매체와 공식적인 자리에서 실제 ‘휴보’와 함께 재미있게 소개되고 있다.
