Synopsis

Five-year-oldEun-Woo is one year older, and so is his mom.

Nowthat the two have moved to a new home, they begin a new period in their livesas Eun-Woo starts to sleep on his own. But despite his mom's hopes, Eun-Woobegins to show some odd behavior.

WillEun-Woo, who has a one-sided hearing problem, be able to live just like theother children?

Director's Comment

Childcare is a difficult problem for a mother, even with the help of a grandmotheror a preschool facility. The guilt from being unable to care for the childcomes off as agitation to the child and continues to grow as a result. For thesake of the family and child, the mother has to distance herself from thechild.

WhenEun-Woo listens to the floor with his one ear, he is searching for"stability" in his mother’s arms. Listening to the floor, refusing togo to bed, and shouting... He is acting out against his mother yet also sendinga "signal" of wanting to be together. It is a story aboutcommunication between a child and his mother.
