Starting off with a playful pun on "fishes getting fished by Wi-Fi," the film unfolds a delightful tale. Instead of its natural lure, an anglerfish flashes a "Free Wi-Fi" signal to trap victims with a barrage of microtransactions—a clever fable satirizing modern digital phishing crimes. The director’s clean, unpretentious approach shines as it handles a heavy social topic without lecturing or imposing emotions on the viewers. Discovering charming props like the painting ‘Girl with a Pearl Earring’ (reimagined as a fish) and clam shell headphones adds extra delight. A colorful flare announcing the emergence of a new-generation animator rooted in a heritage of satirical humor.
