Synopsis

Doyun, a man with a long criminal record, takes a night shift at a small temple market deep in the mountains. There is only one rule: never enter the inner shrine. While struggling through his difficult circumstances, Doyun catches a glimpse of a golden statue inside the forbidden space and gives in to temptation. Soon, strange and unsettling phenomena begin to appear in the once-quiet market, turning it into a place that threatens him.

Director's Comment

This work unfolds around the contrast between Eastern religious atmosphere and a protagonist who exists outside its moral and spiritual codes. The direction aims to sustain an unsettling, uncanny mood while gradually intensifying mystery and tension throughout the narrative. By carefully controlling pace and atmosphere, the film seeks to deliver a powerful and memorable experience that lingers with the audience beyond the final moment.

Detailed description
