Synopsis

Inside the mouth of an ordinary girl, the teeth wage war for space in the cramped mouth. Then, a mysterious shadow appears. As fear spreads, the teeth must brace for war.

Director's Comment

This animation was created from the idea of orthodontic treatment, where misaligned teeth return to their proper positions, while planning a film that everyone could enjoy and laugh along with. It was produced using stop-motion animation, with paper puppets used to distinguish the real world and clay puppets used for the inside of the mouth.

Detailed description

In an era dominated by the mass-marketed aesthetic of modern cuteness, this film throws down the gauntlet with a bizarre and utterly unique visual style. Inside the cramped quarters of a mouth, teeth sprout legs and shake their buttocks, waging a fierce war just to claim a bit more space. Yet when faced with an external enemy—the dentist—and trials like extractions, water blasts, and braces, their internal conflict comes to a forced standstill. Moving far beyond a simple slapstick narrative, the weirdly expressive faces of the teeth overpower the screen frame by frame. Through pure imagery, it proves why AI can never replace human creators in this age of automation. A bold, audacious debut from a newcomer full of spirit.
