Synopsis
“What does it taste like? My elbow.” In the midst of making love, she asks him. It is a question meant to understand a part of herself she can never know on her own, reaching toward intimacy through another. But to him, the gesture is nothing more than foreplay. Unable to understand one another, they sink into the quiet sorrow of their separate ways of loving.
Director's Comment
The question, “What does an elbow taste like?” can ultimately be translated into “Why do you love me?” At a moment when conflict between the two begins to cast doubt on what this love is—and what *I* am within it—she turns to the elbow as a metaphor for a part of herself she cannot know on her own. Through this gesture, she attempts to confirm her existence and her lovability through an intimate other—someone who loves her and, in some ways, knows her better than she knows herself. In contrast, his response feels somewhat conclusive, revealing an attitude that does not fully engage with the depth of her question. By reducing it to something that can be easily defined as “love,” he avoids confronting its complexity. Ultimately, this gap in understanding leads them inevitably toward separation.

Detailed description
The taste of my own elbow—something even I do not know. A trivial question unfolds into curiosity about the unknown and the uneasy place of a woman in an intimate relationship. Seeking answers unreachable alone, a woman and a man intertwine, yet never fully understand each other. The elbow is served as if inviting a taste, yet belongs to no one. Can a man's answer ever set a woman's question free?
