Synopsis

In a world where only white fur is accepted, Armpit Hair Cat hides its black armpit hair, painting it white to fit in. When a strand of black is found in a hamburger at its workplace, chaos erupts in all cat-and-mankind. Armpit Hair Cat collapses under shame.

Director's Comment

[Armpit Hair Cat] is a satirical take on the chaos one goes through in a misogynistic society. It began with my personal frustrations growing up as a tomboy in South Korea and portrays the inner conflict between survival and self-acceptance. With this short film, I wish to speak for all those who have felt sidelined simply for being different.
