The Chipmunk learns that the Squirrel is moving in across from its home. Curious and excited to be friend the newcomer, the Chipmunk approaches with a small gift. But the Squirrel only responds with an unreadable expression and a curt attitude. Still, the Chipmunk doesn’t give up and keeps finding ways to express its feelings.

Director's Comment

I chose the Chipmunk and the Squirrel as the main characters to tell a story about similarities and differences. Sometimes, we assume a person’s personality based on first impressions, only to realize later that they are entirely different from what we expected. Other times, we judge someone's actions by our own standards and end up misunderstanding their true intentions. We may look alike yet be quite different, or appear different but share more similarities than we realize.
