Synopsis

3 days before the college entrance exam, a high school student studies late into the night to overcome the last hurdle in her school life. However, she pushed herself too hard without eating properly, and eventually her body collapsed…

Director's Comment

The mother loves and supports her daughter who is struggling with her entrance exams, and her affections are conveyed through the lunchbox. Food is an indispensable part of Korean life and also conveys our love and thoughtful consideration toward others. The medium that directly expresses this sentiment is the lunchbox. Haven’t we all had a lunchbox packed full of love? Eating a handpacked meal uplifts us, despite whatever tough situation we may face. This animation is the lunchbox I have packed to offer comfort to other weary people.

Program Note

Lunchboxes are always packed with heartfelt feelings. I miss the lunchboxes that my mom packed so full of love that the lid wouldn’t close.
