[Joining Guide] Relay-Animation Project 2024

New Beginning of Communication, Relay-Animation

The very special program of Indie-AniFest! We're waiting for artists for the Relay-Animation Project. 'Relay Animation' is a project that everyone makes together. Complete given sketches in your own unique way! We will combine each work into one animation. This year's theme is “Rope-pulling”, perfect for the festival slogan, "Yo-Ho". Join Relay Animation to congratulate the 20th Seoul Independent Animation Festival!

Since 2014, the artists from overseas are also participating for the program and making more diverse stories with broadened view. We expect to draw the story of every world, with people from all over the world also in this year.

■ Target Participants

- Target: For everyone

- Submission Date: 10th June (Mon) to 21th July (Sun) 2024

■ Way to Participate

1. With Computer Drawing

- Download image files on the Seoul Indie-AniFest homepage.

- Finish the uncompleted sketches in your own unique way using computer programs. (ex. Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint...)

- Save the images as the same size and send them to the Seoul Indie-AniFest e-mail. ([email protected])

2. With Hand Panting

- Download image files on the Seoul Indie-AniFest homepage.

- Print the images without transformations. They will print in A4 size.

- Finish the uncompleted sketches. Scan and save the images as PNGs.

- Send them to the Seoul Indie-AniFest e-mail. ([email protected])

■ Submission Guidelines

- Subject of the e-mail : [Relay Animation] Name(or Nickname)_Set

ex) [Relay Animation] Blair Waldorf_A

- File Name : Name_Set_Image Number

ex) Blair Waldorf_A_01

- File Format : PNG

*Please include your contact information in the email.

**Please maintain the images' ratio and size when you send the files.

■ Cautions

- Images are copyrighted by the author, but the copyright holder of the completed animation is Seoul Indie-AniFest.

- If they are considered inappropriate for online publication, uploads may be restricted.

■ Benefits

- Your name or nickname will be listed in the credits of the completed animation.

- The completed animation will be publicized online as a Seoul Indie-AniFest promotion film.

- The completed animation will be shown at the 20th Seoul Indie-AniFest Opening Ceremony.

- Free festival ticket for someone who joins us through both e-mail and Instagram reels(with designated hashtags #Seoulindieanifest2024 #YoHo).

 - There is a prize for the three people who draw the best cuts.
